about me

Hello.

I am an optimistic dreamer who drinks too much coffee, knits, quilts, watches crappy TV (and loves it), eats my vegetables, runs, cycles, powerlifts, takes naps, cuts my own bangs, loves dogs (probably too much), thinks I’m really funny, has a financially strained relationship with fashion, loves traveling and romping about in nature.

But most of all, I’m a photographer who is fascinated by people and the stories they have to tell.

I love photography for its potential to make you feel a certain way. I love the way that photos can tell stories and bring to life moments that otherwise might have gone unnoticed.

I was born and raised in the soggy Pacific Northwest and, for me, there’s no better place to call home. I live with my husband Shawn, our dog Henry, and Keela the cat. I have two bachelor degrees: one in communications and the other in accounting. I got started in photography back in high school… when I needed an art credit and everything else was full.

I think what I do is pretty cool and I’d be honored for you to be a part of it.
